When Life Feels Stuck: The Hidden Power of Choosing One Next

There are seasons in life when everything feels like it is happening at once.

The bills need attention.

Relationships need attention.

Dreams are calling.

Ideas are arriving faster than we can act on them.

The soul is whispering.

The world is demanding.

And somewhere in between, we’re trying to remember who we are.

I’ve learned that some of the most challenging seasons aren’t the ones where nothing is happening.

They’re the seasons where everything is happening.

You wake up carrying twenty visions.

A book you want to write. A business you want to build. A trip you want to take. A relationship you want to nurture. A life you know you’re meant to create.

Yet by the end of the day, you’re exhausted and wondering why nothing moved forward.

I’ve been there.

More times than I’d like to admit.

Sitting at my desk surrounded by notebooks filled with brilliant ideas, sacred plans, moon rituals, business strategies, travel dreams, and creative projects.

Everything felt important.

Everything felt urgent.

And because everything felt urgent, nothing actually moved.

That’s when I discovered something that eventually became part of what I now call the Cosmic Rhythm Method.

Nature never tries to do everything at once.

The Moon doesn’t rush through her phases.

The tides don’t force themselves to arrive early.

The seasons don’t compete with one another.

Everything unfolds according to rhythm.

Everything unfolds according to timing.

Yet somehow we expect ourselves to bloom, harvest, rest, heal, build, create, earn, transform, and reinvent ourselves all in the same week.

No wonder we’re exhausted. No wonder we feel stuck. No wonder our nervous system waves the white flag.

The Day Everything Changed

Several years ago, I found myself staring at what felt like a mountain of responsibilities.

There were financial pressures. Personal challenges. Business goals.

Creative projects. Family concerns. Dreams that felt both beautiful and impossibly far away.

I kept asking myself:

“What is the big answer?”

“What is my purpose?”

“What is the perfect plan?”

But every time I looked for the giant answer, I became more overwhelmed.

Then one morning during my journaling practice, a different question arrived.

Not from my mind. From somewhere deeper. The question was simple:

“What is the next right step?”

Not the next ten.

Not the next year.

Not the entire blueprint.

Just the next step.

And something shifted. Because suddenly I didn’t need certainty.

I only needed movement.

The Myth of the Perfect Plan

Many of us believe that before we can move forward, we need clarity.

We tell ourselves:

“Once I know exactly what my purpose is…”

“Once I create the perfect business…”

“Once I figure everything out…”

Then I’ll move.

But life rarely works that way. In my experience, clarity is a reward for movement.

Not a prerequisite.

The Universe often reveals the second step only after we’ve taken the first.

The path isn’t always visible from the beginning.

Sometimes it’s illuminated one stone at a time.

Like walking through a dark forest carrying a lantern.

The lantern doesn’t show you the entire journey.

It simply shows you enough to take the next step safely. And somehow that’s enough.

The Cosmic Rhythm Method

One of the core teachings of the Cosmic Rhythm Method is that every season serves a purpose.

There are seasons for planting. Seasons for nurturing. Seasons for harvesting. Seasons for resting.

The challenge comes when we’re trying to harvest something we haven’t planted.

Or force growth during a season meant for healing.

When life feels stuck, I encourage my clients to stop asking:

“What should my entire life look like?”

And instead ask:

“What season am I in right now?”

Maybe you’re in a rebuilding season.

Maybe you’re in a healing season.

Maybe you’re in a preparation season.

Maybe you’re in a harvest season.

Each season requires different actions. Different expectations.

Different rhythms. And when we align with the season we’re actually in instead of the season we wish we were in, life begins to flow again.

Momentum Is More Powerful Than Motivation

Motivation is wonderful. But motivation is a visitor.

Momentum becomes a companion. Momentum is created through small acts of devotion.

One phone call. One client. One blog post. One application.

One workout. One conversation. One courageous decision.

These tiny actions may not look impressive from the outside.

But they create energetic evidence.

Each completed task tells your subconscious:

“I can trust myself.”

“I follow through.”

“I move when it’s time to move.”

And trust in yourself is one of the most powerful forms of abundance.

Ask a Different Question

Instead of asking:

“What is my purpose?”

Try asking:

“What would make tomorrow easier than today?”

That question changed my life.

Maybe the answer is sending an invoice.

Maybe it’s organizing your calendar.

Maybe it’s reaching out to a potential client.

Maybe it’s finally publishing the blog you’ve been overthinking.

Maybe it’s resting. Because rest is productive when it’s aligned.

The Cosmic Rhythm Method teaches that action and rest are partners.

Not enemies. The tide comes in. The tide goes out.

The inhale is just as important as the exhale.

Your Dreams Are Not Going Anywhere

One of the greatest fears people carry is that if they stop chasing every dream at once, they’ll lose them.

You won’t. The dream isn’t disappearing. It’s waiting for fertile soil.

The book is still there. The business is still there. The podcast is still there. The love is still there. The future version of yourself is still there.

What you’re building right now is the foundation that allows those dreams to thrive when their season arrives.

The oak tree doesn’t apologize for being an acorn first.

And neither should you.

Today’s Reflection

Before you close this page, pause for a moment.

Take a deep breath.

Place your hand over your heart.

And ask yourself:

What is one thing I can complete today that my future self will thank me for tomorrow?

Not ten things.

Not thirty.

Just One.

Then honor that commitment.

Because one completed step creates momentum. Momentum creates confidence.

Confidence creates trust. And trust creates transformation.

The rhythm returns one step at a time.

Always.

Asa

A Cosmic Rhythm Practice for Overwhelming Days

Whenever life feels noisy, scattered, or overwhelming, I return to a simple practice I’ve used for years.

I call it the One Step Candle Ritual.

You don’t need expensive supplies.

You don’t need a full moon.

You don’t need a perfect altar.

You simply need a willingness to pause.

Light a white candle.

Place your hands over your heart.

Take three slow breaths.

Then ask:

“What is the next right step for me today?”

Not next month.

Not next year.

Today.

Write down the very first answer that arrives.

Don’t analyze it. Don’t negotiate with it. Don’t turn it into a ten-page strategy.

Simply honor it.

Then extinguish the candle and take action.

This practice works because it shifts us out of mental chaos and back into energetic alignment.

The Universe often whispers. Overwhelm is loud.

The candle helps us hear the whisper again.

A Numerology Insight for Stuck Energy

As a Numerologist, one of the first things I remind people is that every cycle has a purpose.

Just because a season feels slow doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

A seed underground isn’t failing.

It’s preparing.

Many of us judge ourselves for being in a season of preparation because we’re comparing ourselves to someone else’s season of harvest.

But life isn’t linear. It’s cyclical.

The Moon teaches this. The tides teach this. Even our own breath teaches this.

Sometimes your only assignment is preparation.

Sometimes your only assignment is healing.

Sometimes your only assignment is choosing one next step.

And that is enough.

Kitchen Alchemy for Clarity

One of my favorite forms of magic happens in the kitchen.

Long before I studied astrology, numerology, and Intuitive energy, I understood that intention changes everything.

Food carries energy. Herbs carry memory. Spices carry vibration.

When I need clarity, I make what I call my Mercury Clarity Tea.

Mercury Clarity Tea

Ingredients:

☕ 1 cup hot water

🌿 Fresh mint

🍋 Lemon

🍯 Honey

✨ A pinch of cinnamon

As you stir clockwise, repeat:

“My mind is clear.
My path is revealed.
I trust the next step before me.”

Drink slowly.

No phone.

No computer.

Just you and the conversation between your soul and the moment.

Often the answer arrives when we stop forcing it.

An Astrology Secret

One of the greatest lessons astrology has taught me is that timing matters.

We live in a culture that tells us to push harder.

Move faster. Do more. But the cosmos operates differently.

The Moon waxes and wanes. The Sun rises and sets. Even the stars move through seasons.

When life feels stuck, I often ask:

“Am I trying to force summer during winter?”

Sometimes the Universe isn’t saying no.

It’s saying not yet.

Understanding the difference can save years of frustration.

A Sacred Bath for Releasing Overwhelm

When overwhelm builds in my body, I don’t always need another strategy.

Sometimes I need a release.

Try this simple bath ritual.

Add to warm water the amount depends on you’re life path number:

🌿 Rosemary

🌿 Lavender

🧂 Sea salt

🍋 Lemon slices

As you enter the water say:

“I release what is not mine to carry.
I release what no longer serves my highest good.
I return to my natural rhythm.”

Stay in the water for at least eleven minutes.

Imagine the overwhelm dissolving from your body and returning to the Earth for transformation.

When you drain the tub, imagine the stress leaving with the water.

Simple.

Powerful.

Effective.

The Traveler’s Wisdom

My years as a traveler taught me something I now share with nearly every client.

You never see the entire journey from the airport.

You only see the next gate.

The next flight.

The next destination.

Life works the same way.

If someone handed you a map of your entire future, it would probably overwhelm you.

Instead, life reveals itself in chapters.

One city.

One lesson.

One season.

One step.

Trust the chapter you’re in.

It contains wisdom the next chapter will need.

Your Cosmic Rhythm Assignment

Before you leave this page, write down:

One thing causing stress.

One thing bringing joy.

One thing you can complete within the next 24 hours.

Then focus only on that final item.

Because transformation doesn’t arrive all at once. It arrives one aligned choice at a time.

One breath.

One prayer.

One candle.

One recipe.

One conversation.

One step.

And eventually, one day, you’ll look back and realize that what felt like standing still was actually the beginning of everything.
